“Hardworking Florida families deserve better than what they're getting under this administration. I have spent my career fighting to deliver real solutions for Florida and that's why I'll win again in November.”

“Sixteen years ago today, President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, giving millions of Americans access to quality, affordable healthcare. In Florida's Ninth Congressional District, over 275,000 constituents are enrolled, the second-most in the nation. Through the addition of the Premium Tax Credit, millions saw their insurance premiums lowered by thousands of dollars per year. However, Republicans' refusal to extend the credit has caused the American people to see their healthcare costs skyrocket, and many have been forced to go without coverage as a result. House Democrats were able to garner bipartisan support to pass a three-year extension, but the Senate has failed to act for months as families continue struggling to make ends meet.”
