In Their Words
What they have said, on the record
“This district deserves a representative that cares about this part of Florida.”
“We need to stand up to data centers and the development of A.I. Before we continue to develop data centers, we need environmental and worker protections. We also need privacy protections as A.I. surveillance advances.”
“Our district is vast, and the challenges facing residents can look very different depending on where they live. Across the board, though, the biggest issue is the rising cost of living. Families are struggling to afford groceries, rent, insurance, health care, and everyday necessities. Seniors and veterans living on fixed incomes are being squeezed from every direction. We also face serious environmental challenges from overdevelopment, flooding, sea level rise, and protecting our water resources. Affordable housing remains out of reach for too many people.”
“I struggle to understand what is radical about wanting people to be able to afford healthcare, live with dignity, and have a fair opportunity to succeed. Those are not extreme ideas. Those are the expectations people should have of their government, regardless of party.”
